Path of the Vampire is an original browser-based massively multiplayer online RPG with a persistent world that continues to grow and evolve as the players shape the story. The game is heavily centered on role play as a main feature, and even rewards those playing interesting characters or getting involved in the busy forum RP.
Due to ABUSE/SPAM, until the new BBOGD is here. Reviews are being reviewed before being displayed.

Cliques are so last year... . Literally! ;) While there was a bit of drama for a while, as there can be anywhere, negativity has been banished from the server and the community is growing again!
While I have to admit that some of the last critique is accurate, there are some fine writers involved who are also fun people.
Slow game with forum writers in cliques, users criticize new users writing, and a handful of people write the majority of the charactors and server drama all over the place.
New Chapter starting soon! Come play the game where YOU can help create the future!
Beta has ended, come have some fun!
Beta testing has officially ended. The speed of all levelling up has been doubled.
The Beta is a lie.
2 new killing areas and beta ends soon whoot .
People here are branching out all the time writers will role play freely with anyone that shows a interest and has good role play ideas. Its not just rp for the sake of rp. Build a good character and rp and they will come . :D

*** (glitched out word below) And if *vilifying* a Dolphin isn't an original idea, I'll eat my hat. :|
I'm curious as to how long ago you tried. The game dos still have a few bugs, it is still in Beta but that is very close to being over now. There is always drama anywhere you play, esp. if you look for that. I've been playing at PoV 3 years now and have had less exposure to drama here than at any game I have ever played. And I find the grid to be very entertaining and can spend hours there without getting bored. So many new things keep getting added, it's hard to pick what to do some days! And if a Dolphin isn't an original idea, I'll eat my hat. :|
Tried this for a couple of months to give it a chance, but I wasn't impressed. Bugs affect gameplay on a daily basis. Writers stick to cliques. Not many original ideas. Drama is evident in multiple threads. And many other issues. Not a game for serious RP'ers or gamers, but fine if you want to waste an hour a day, mindlessly clicking a grid.
A community of awesome writers! If you like writing, come play! New talent always welcome. :D
You want to shoot a zombie ... Come on I know you want to ...
Excellent role play community which is better than the quality you find in most other games nowadays. The open ended chapters make it so that if you can think it and dream it then it could potentially happen. The grid play is involved and gives you the ability to choose so many different ways to level. Want to be a computer genius and world renown hacker? Then do it. Want to be a big massive vampire that can jump dozens of feet in the air and smash your enemies to bits? Then you can do it. Path of the Vampire is about as good as it gets when it comes to vampire RPGs.
Love the grid play and the role play community is fantastic
A great game for any with an interest in vampire roleplay. Appealing to roleplayers and gamers alike.
A social mmo where the players have control over not only their own stories but the world as a whole, it's a good game for both casual and hardcore gamers.
An RPG that truly does have endless possibilities and a community that makes playing the game pretty straightforward...even for the uninitiated!
A game that you don't have to spend money on to have a great time playing! Developers are awesome & easy to communicate with. The player community is helpful & friendly.
Roleplay and a game. I got siring slots to use, look for me even if its just to RP.
PVP and RP; unique powers based on your path, so the iterations of character combinations are huge. The RP high quality, the PVP can be one-on-one; dueling; skirmishing; or battle to the death.
Not *just* for writers. A good place for gamers too!
